


Care Response Unit

The mission of the Care Response Unit is to reduce law enforcement contact with individuals homelessness, mental health conditions and/or homelessness.
Through our compassionate and proactive approach, we seek to address the underlying causes of social issues and improve the well-being the participants and our community.
Project Right Now
Project Right Now is designed to combat the opioid and youth substance abuse crisis by getting help to youth ages 12-23 in their homes, at school, and on the street.
Project Right Now takes a unique approach to connecting youth struggling with substance abuse disorders with all available resources.
Proposition 47

Prop 47, also known as the Safe Neighborhoods and Schools Act, focuses on investing in mental health treatment, drug rehabilitation, and education programs to support at-risk communities, and is funded by the California Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC).
Prop 47 seeks to enhance public safety and foster healthier neighborhoods.
Emergency Weather Shelter

When extreme weather conditions occur and the Hospitality House is full, the CRU team activates the Emergency Weather Shelter program.
Thanks to grant funding from Housing and Community Development California, CRU is able to provide motel stays for individuals experiencing homelessness, ensuring they have a safe and warm place to stay during severe weather events.
